I heart the people at nshc. They're just FUN. Nighty has to get her program working, so I won't have an Ice pic until tomorrow night or Tuesday, but I am teh happy! And some girls from the poetry section joined in and wrote Ice stuff. I lurve them. *Huggles Tahle and Cryptchild*

deep down inside
the fight is calling
it's time to go

fighting alone
I heart it. Very muchly her harshest side, though. Then Crypty came around after I pondered if I could get a calmer version, and she wrote me...
Something deep within
A flame that licks the surface..
And yet never breaks through the restraints to scathe the enemies without..
It burns somewhere deep inside..
Ready to escape when other's heed not the strength in battle
And ready to sizzle and spit when unasked help arrives..
Something that knows the truth but hides from it
Worried to let loose it's true form for fear of unwant..
For fear of being cast from the other flames..
Something that stilled burned like a song..
Some ancient melody waiting to writhe out of control..
And spit into a flame of exotic dance..
Twisting entwining like vines of a branch..
Around a soul so lost that it had sunk into despair..
So distant and cold but when the surface is breeched a soul so different seems to consume..
A fire that had been left behind to fend for itself..
Until other's of it's own kind had taken it beneath their wing..
Into a home where nothing was perfect and yet everything was welcomed..
Here she was..
That fire spitting...that vine twisting...and that melody writhing
Ice, that fire that burns within.
Which I adore as well. Almost a bit of a mouthful, but I lurve the people at nshc. I think Tahle might write another version, cause she left way before Crypty showed up and she might've written somethin' already, but I have no clue. I still like them all. *Squishles*
