perididdleNow that I have calmed down and I've gotten to look a lot of my shiny new musicy-stuff...^_^
Yay!
Yes...I almost didn't expect to get the Daphyn stuff yet. Thought I'd get them tomorrow. Dunno why. But, well, okay...got home from Cassie's, and oh no one had checked the mail from yesterday. Rawr. SO I walked the very very long driveway just to POSSIBLY get them...I poke open the mailbox and YAY PADDED ENVELOPE. I did a squee of joy, grabbed the mail and the New York Times bag and ran to sort everything out so I could carry the bag of mail in one hand and the envelope in the other. 'Cause I had to open it. ^_^ I read the letter detailing the Red Dwarf eppies she sent me, and of course I giggled to the point of having to stop and compose myself once.
"Also, Rimmer has three brothers, John, Howard, and Frank, all of whom are highly successful and much better looking than him."
"Holly's gone computer senile! (Oh...in the first episode of season 2 he fell in love with an alternate dimension female version of himself and had a 'sex-change' operation at the beginning of season 3.) Oh, and in season 1 Lister had a (silver) talking toaster. I think that's all you need to know for that one." (I spent a few moments thinking "WTF?")
And a few other comments, but those were my two favorites. Daphyn has my sister's handwriting almost.
THEN I spent time squealing over the first CD...watched a bunch of little bits (Idina in 'Rescue Me' - HILARIOUS. "You're gay!") then decided YAYMOOZIC and I listened to a lot of that. Lisha can back me up when I say I went insane over Spanish RENT. Thennnn I went to the 3rd CD of wonderfulness and listened to Wicked SanFran stuff and and MORE! I hopped all over the place listening to bits of Kristin and Daphne and Matt and oh so much more...fwee! I'm gonna watch Red Dwarf in just a few minutes, I got the urge for a Chicago fix first.

TOMORROW IS MY RENT!YEAR. SQUEE! I saw RENT on the 21st of February, 2004. It was my first real BROADWAY show, EVER. Yaaay! I wore my RENT shirt today, so I doubt I'll wear it tomorrow to, but I'll be binging on RENT alllll day. Yay!
