OH YAY.

I have FINALLY figured out where 'So long, farewell' came from...I've been saying it for years...and...

I never knew it was from The Sound of Music. I knew it was from SOMETHING, but Sound of Music never crossed my mind.

Because...you know....I've never seen The Sound of Music. Not until tonight.

Is that sad? It's forever shocked Lisha, soo, yeah.

I think I still like Mary Poppins more. Yeah, I grew up with my lovely Mary, and I love her so.

Yay.

Oh, no, only the musical that punctuated the life of my mother, my aunts, my friend's parents...not much. ^_^

I just find it sad that I'm such a Julie Andrews fan and a musical addict, yet I've NEVER seen this movie. *Squishles it*

Mary Poppins is definitely (in my opinion) more enjoyable than The Sound of Music. Which I also love, but there's just something magical about Mary Poppins. :)

*Pets her icon* I made it when I got bored. It's the best Prince piccy EVER.

I grew up with Mary Poppins...and I didn't watch it forever...then I just recently bought it on DVD and I couldn't stop watching it for about a week. It's lovely, it's gorgeous, JULIE ANDREWS has far too much of both qualities to ever show her face ever again ^_^...and it is a magical little journey. I have the first three books, too. I wish they had made a sequel or something of the sort...that would have been oh so shiny.

When I was babysitting this summer, I watched either Finding Nemo or Mary Poppins EVERY DAY. At least once. Sometimes three times. Which I didn't mind all that much, really...Nemo got irritating, but I learned to block it out. And I love "boppins" as Amanda says, so I didn't mind that either. That NEVER started to get on my nerves, which made me happy. I have the first book, I believe it's original printing but I took such bad care of it when I was a kid that it's not worth anything now. I read the rest of them though. And a sequel movie would've been shiny, but only if it could've had Julie Andrews in it :)
