OH YAY.
I have FINALLY figured out where 'So long, farewell' came from...I've been saying it for years...and...
I never knew it was from The Sound of Music. I knew it was from SOMETHING, but Sound of Music never crossed my mind.
Because...you know....I've never seen The Sound of Music. Not until tonight.
Is that sad? It's forever shocked Lisha, soo, yeah.
I think I still like Mary Poppins more. Yeah, I grew up with my lovely Mary, and I love her so.
Yay.

Date: 2005-02-08 08:12 pm (UTC)I grew up with Mary Poppins...and I didn't watch it forever...then I just recently bought it on DVD and I couldn't stop watching it for about a week. It's lovely, it's gorgeous, JULIE ANDREWS has far too much of both qualities to ever show her face ever again ^_^...and it is a magical little journey. I have the first three books, too. I wish they had made a sequel or something of the sort...that would have been oh so shiny.
