So the Boston people want my mom to work for them...

Doesn't mean she will, but they liked her and everything...but they want to know what she wants to get, and if they can't match it and the like she can completely turn it down. And she doesn't even know what option she would rather go with right now...she has to know about the cost of living and the like. She said the recruiter would fly us up to Boston soon to look at houses and neighborhoods and schools and stuff.

*Sigh* There are lots of pros and cons, IMO...

Pros
Better schools
Better city (culture wise)
Better opportunities for theatre, film, the arts, ect. (this is HUGE for me right now, fyi...)
New Bloomfield = gack
WAY closer to NYC
And it's not like I couldn't make friends, find my own place, ect...especially if we lived in a neighborhood where I could meet people & stuff.

Cons
My friends here
My 10 acres
My animals
I feel safer
And it's nice to have known people and this place since forever...*shrug*

I think if it came down to it, I actually wouldn't mind living in either place once I was settled. I don't know. I have to think about it.

In other news...THE SOUND OF MUSIC! Yay for that!

*Dances off to watch*

It's hard moving at first, and since you're 13 you kind of have the whole life thing wherever you are. I moved from paris to NY at 5-6ish I do believe. I was darn lucky I knew enough of the language because of my grandpa but I know how difficult it can be adapting to a different lifestyle. And then when I was 15 I moved out to penn and well that also had all its complications I didnt know anyone but... I just didnt care at that point.

although I must sarcastically comment...

Better opportunities for theatre, film, the arts, ect. (this is HUGE for me right now, fyi...)

No flipping way! :P Its a rough trade but if you really want it you need to get into it right away, if you move do school dramas, local theatre, etc. Because if you expect to walk right into it without problems when youre older you have another thing coming.

Yeah...I'm kind of lucky I have a lot of my friends living in other places anyway, because I'm so friggin addicted to the internet...^_^

And yeah...by 'Better opportunities' I mean they actually have schools that give enough of a shit what non-sports people do that they actually HAVE a drama program. *GROWLS at New Bloomfield.* Or even community theatre. And I know it would be virtually impossible to get into it when I was older if I don't get into it soon somehow...which is part of why I'm like "oohhh BOSTON!" because I want to have a life in theatre or film...and I have NOTHING here that can do anything for that. Absolutely NOTHING. Silly Missouri...first you have crazy Indiana people running here constantly, now you have no theatre...*glares at her state*
