I love Ellen. Far too much. She's quite my role model, which then again usually frightens people. I tell others that I think she rocks, and usually I get a look and a 'You know she's a lesbian, right?' It usually makes me want to smack them, yes it does. Maybe it's because they look at me like I'm an idiot. 'Cause how brave she was is part of the reason that I adore her so (she's also HILARIOUS and just a good person)...*shrugs*

Yaaay, Ellen!

She IS! Oh my gosh, my favorite quote by her was on her show, someone invited her to a male strip club, and she said "Well, if you know me, there's nothing for me there..." the audience just cheeeeeeered. It was (I believe) the first reference she'd made to it on her show. She's not avoiding it, she just doesn't think it needs to be talked about.

HEHEHE! Yes! I have that episode on tape, I think! (I taped some episodes from early season 2. Then I lost DirecTV & the West/East coast feeds, so I don't get Ellen anymore. *Pout*) It's so hilarious!

I agree, she thinks it's something that doesn't need to be talked about. She just wants to be her, the incredibly hilarious, good hearted, wonderful person that she is.

That sucks that you don't get to see it anymore :( We get it broadcast, but I usually can't watch it 'cause it's on at 10 and I start work at 11:15 and I usually want to stay to watch the whole thing but it doesn't work that way :) That was the best episode though.

She really is wonderful :) I hope her show lasts forever! Well, not forever, but you know what I mean.
