( Trish says she's better at this than I am... )
*Sigh* I have to go to my lovely 3-day horse show. I'm staying over at someone else's house tonight, and a hotel room tomorrow...show starts on Friday, with SHOWMANSHIP. *Shudder* Then I think it's horsemanship...it would rock if it were western pleasure, cause then I wouldn't have to remember another pattern for the day...Anyways...
Saturday is horsemanship or pleasure, which ever one doesn't go the day before. Then trail. *Twitch* I'm insanely horrible at trail class. Last time I did it, Bummer flipped out at the gate and when we had to do a 360ยบ in the box. If we can AVOID a gate opening bit (so unlikely) and there are no L's that I have to walk through then back up...I might do okay...oh, well, I'll ask Mona for tips...
Sunday is ENGLISH. YAY! Bummer is having issues with stopping without throwing up his head, but hopefully we helped that a bit yesterday (riding him into the gate and arena rails so he's forces to keep his head down = HIGH-LARIOUS...yeah, every time I would hear this 'thunk' as his nose hit something. He's not the brightest cookie in the jar.) and I can get through english pleasure without making myself look like an idiot. Won't win anything, though, cause he's not really an English horse. Not stretchy enough, but he has gotten better. English equitation should be the last event, right after pleasure...I'll have to memorize the pattern ahead of time. If it's not stupid I should be okay. That's judged on the rider, and I tend to kick some serious ass if Bummer doesn't act like a total jerk. Yes...
Sooo, if all goes well, I should be home by Sunday night. Tuesday, I have to work at a food stand at the county fair until 11 AM...I'm not too entirely sure what I'm going to do that weekend...my mom wants me to skip one of the up coming shows, because three straight weeks of shows is kind of a lot. I don't know if I will/can though...county fair, and then a circut where I get points...grrr....
Maddy is highly stressed out, so she shall rant about something else.
Hmmmsers, let's see....muses, muses. Catty got a lovely call from the counselor at the school. *Snickers* The woman wanted to set up meetings to try and make the year easier. Of course, we must mix in Kristy, one of Catty's former friends, into everything...she was caught with quite a bit of something and decided to make Catty the whole reason. Oh, yes, and Mrs. Gray (okay, it's Gray. Gray.) telling everyone that Catty's boyfriend is 21 (he's 19 damnit....and okay 14 and 19 NOT the bestest, but Drake straightened things out) and that my lovely Catherina isn't a virgin. She wasn't happy after that question session. Sooo, add this all in with the seemingly high count of rapists that go to the school, there's lovely reason to make her change schools. Yaay.
Josie's having twins...two girls...that's going to be lots of fun fun fun! *Eye roll*
I must be off to pack...ugh....I'll try to post again on Sunday. *grumble*
