Bwahaha.

*Hugs her new Mary Poppins DVD* I'm watching it with commentary and the pop-up trivia things all at the same time. So much fun. I can't wait to play around and figure out how they did the carpetbag thing. Prolly mirrors at that point. Fun.

Hmm, they didn't have it at Target. That made me angry, and they didn't have any soundtracks that I need (A real version of Wicked, Avenue Q, and Hairspray) so I stomped around a bit. Though I found a yoyo and bought the Sims - Vacation. The yoyo kinda sucks...I need a different string, but I REALLY want another Klutz Rocket Yoyo, or even a Tornado. But the Rocket I miss dearly, oh so dearly...least the one I got (a sucky ProFly, the only good ones they had) sleeps. But it leans way too easily. Which is probably good for me, because I need to fix my throw, I got all lazy and didn't do yoyoing after the string broke on my first Rocket that came with the Klutz Yoyo Book. Sooo yeah. I've been playing with Fence Hops and Loop-The-Loops, and my own weird version of a Breakaway/Loop the Loop cross, that's kinda fun and rather easy. Once I get motivation to work on sleeper tricks, I'll fix my Rock the Cradles. But, alas, I have no energy.

And my The Sims - Vacation thing isn't installing. I installed the actual game, since I hadn't gotten around to it, and then went to install Vacation and that went fine. Then I tried to start up the game, and it said it had to update, now it won't read CDs rock and let me 'update' or whatever. Sooo, yeah. Gotta work on that. Tried to uninstall it all, but it kept trying to install, so I deleted the file and it says it still takes up hard drive. RAWR.

Aside from that, though, my day went okay. ^_^

Wanted to see Phantom of the Opera, but it's on limited release and I didn't get to. Then found out my mom's friend was coming along, and that just upset me...I was, for ONCE, looking forward to a day with my mom and I didn't want anyone else around for lunch and a movie. So apparently I got pissy and she sent me off to the shop, where I ranted a bit then just talked to Scot. She picked me up, we had mexican for lunch, then compromised on Meet the Fockers (NOT, by far, my first choice. After Phantom, I wanted to see National Treasure, and at the least Spanglish. But Tony wanted to see Lemony Snicket, which I immediately turned down simply because I have issues with the book. And I didn't want to see the Aviator, or The Incredibles. So, ugh, left with Meet the Fockers, even thoough at one point my mom said I was a spoiled little brat and that I wouldn't get to go. Gee, thanks. I want to spend a day with you and you fucking send me off to see a movie with a friend.) It's okay. Not the greatest, I got mildly bored, but it's kinda funny. Then went to Movie Gallery and got...Princess Diaries 2, Shrek 2, and 13 Going on 30. Then came home. Yeahhh...

Hmm, also went to Barnes & Noble, but didn't find anything cheap enough to buy. There's no paperback version of the first book in the new Jim Butcher series, so it was $18 or $23 and I walked away....Gregory Maguire's section just had Mirror Mirror and Wicked, while I want Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. And, um, there was a book in the teen section that didn't have the first (oh by the by, LISHA, the new covers for Lirael and that series are AWESOME) and THEN I didn't have motivation to buy T*Witches, they never stock the Thoroughbred books I need, and this series of Cat Warriors or something didn't have the first book. Even though I do wanna read it. Hmm, got me in a writing mood, though. Feeling up to Rhonvanion or my long forgotten cat gods. *Squishles them*

Quotes of the Day -

"It's not that bad! I just left him alone for a SECOND to answer the phone, he got himself out of the playpen, played in glue and got his hands stuck to a bottle of rum! It's okay!" - Meet the Fockers

"Well...isn't HE special?!" - Me, about Tolkien's books spanning two bookshelves. I was bitter for a moment, because I could barely find Jim Butcher or Gregory Maguire.

"At least you were with me when I saw RENT, and I didn't have to sneak out to see it with my friends."
"True."
"Better than sneaking out to smoke crack."
"That's right."
"Though, come to think of it, there's no one that would sneak out with me to see RENT..." - My Mom & Me

Hmmm, toodles for now! I think I'm gonna write, or try to draw that damn picture in my head. I went on a commission search last night, and came away with NADA. No one does human commissions. Nope, nada, none. I don't even look for requests, but COMMISSIONS. Not tha I can pay much, but it's somethin. Rawr.
