Erg.

I really dislike it when people can't give other music isn't their's a chance. Really. I try to give everything more than a passing glance before I shudder and change the channel. I stayed during Yellowcard. I actually started to look for it to download. But if I can put up with that stuff, what the crap is wrong with Modest Mouse. I don't CARE if Wakefield hasn't had a song on the radio...knowing one lovely band/person doesn't make you queen of unknown artists. Ani? Radiohead? Matt Caplan? Idina Menzel? They haven't had songs on the radio either. Wakefield isn't an almighty band just because, by pure luck, they got their CD out. Lots of artists do it. Lots of artists put the CDs out THEMSELVES. I get the distinct feeling it's not the sheep that scare you, hun. You hate Modest Mouse because of Float On? They have other music, you know. I've listened to Wakefield, I've put in an effort to like them. They sound like Good Charlotte, quite frankly. Their lyrics can rock like the Rolling Stones, but, just, no.

P.S. x2 Listen, hun, you know it's you I'm talking about. And you know I love ya to bits and pieces, but damn, my nerves get hit really easy. It just happens when with best friends. So try not to get snappy, please? You've been there for me time after time, and I'm not going to let annoyance turn into bitchy-ness, which happens occasionally with me. I just had to vent out something, and I wasn't about to let your stalkers have control over a whole ranting post (^_^). You're still my bopsiey, and always will be. But if you won't wear a shock collar, can we tone down the guy talk just a little?
