No subject...bleh
Apr. 20th, 2004 06:26 pmBwahaha. We had play practice today, and I finally got this witch voice down. Well, okay, I fell in and out at certain parts (They make me say 'Isn't that amusing?'...and...and...I say it too much normally to remember to stay in witch voice. Gah!) but Mrs. Gerloff kept calling out 'Good job' to me. And she's probably the one person I'm afraid of disappointing. Then I got to MELT, and I got to scream my lines over the music and just kinda slowly collapse and Mrs. Gerloff called "GREAT JOB MADISON!" from across the gym and Mrs. Hopsecker was by the stage and said the same. Made me feel good. I like being the Wicked Witch. Ah, the joys of typecasting...^_^
Tomorrow ish RENT day for me. I'm supposed to wear the D.A.R.E. shirt every Wednesday, but I don't want to anger the benevolent god (Jonathan Larson - R.I.P.) so I just wore it today, and I'm wearing my RENT shirt tomorrow. Yep, yep, yep. Always very fun. Also have Talent Show practice, play practice, and horseback. Gaah. Then a horse show on Saturday, though the talent show is Friday and I dunno how we're gonna wash horses. But we get to go to the rather awesome show, no matter HOW much that damn judge hated me. Oooo, if he's there, I'm gonna show him...
Hmm. I wish I could do Day of Silence tomorrow. http://www.dayofsilence.org/ But our school isn't in it. Blech. Might try it though. Cause you know what...( heads up - more sexuality rants )
Now that I got that all out...I'm pretty much done, lol. Oh, oh, Kentucky Derby, less than 2 weeks away! I haven't been keeping up with my horse racing like I should *wince* but I do have a list...of four. Lol.
St. Averil, cause he's one of the more solid 3-year-olds in a big confusing mess
Rock Hard Ten, cause he won the Santa Anita handicap, and his name is FUN.
Tapit, cause of his Pulpit breeding and his win in the Wood Memorial. He's a gray, too I think. I love grays.
Imperialism, cause he has breeding, a Triple Crown name, and a 21-year-old, FEMALE trainer. Chaa. He's my number one boy right now.
