More sexuality rants. This one is even more disjointed than the last! )

Also...I went poking around msnbc.com for articles on this. Didn't find anything on the Bush thing, but I found these...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3540574/ ("My Mommies Can Marry:
A ruling green-lighting gay marriage echoes loudly through the country—and in the 2004 campaign." The opening is cute..."The two mothers—Julie is the biological one—told Annie what it all meant. The little girl, her parents recalled later, raced around the gym, waving her hockey stick over her head in victory. Puzzled friends asked her why she was so happy. “My mommies can marry!” she exclaimed.")

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4191903/ ("Marriage Battle Lines Drawn")

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4180531/ ("Ministers Applaud Declaration Supporting Gay Marriage In Massachusetts." MINISTERS! Who woulda thunk it. There's a Rabbi, too.)

Yep. I'm in a slightly odd mood today. Plus I have no one to talk to, lol.

Yeah. I'm sorry about my last post. I did get out of hand...Bush bashing, parents taught it to me, I took it to a bad level...it's just that I was so, so angry that someone was, once again, speaking out so blatantly about how they were against homosexuality. Though, now I probably have someone pissed at the fact that yet another person was speaking out, so blatantly, about how much they're for it. All hell has broken loose, people are angry, the internet goes down in flames, and the world has ended. (Said with complete seriousness, btw. ^_^)

I need to work on this whole new, shiny, look-at-it-from-someone-elses-pov concept...I have lot's o' trouble with it. And my dear Lisha makes many good points that I didn't stop to consider in my lovely uber-opinionated ranting state. All must bow down to her, for she makes good points all the time while I scream and yell and can't control the muses. Bwaha.

P.S. I'm still gonna try to irk Mrs. McAtee with a rant. It's so much fun.

My LiveJournal Sitcom
Living PDAs (SHOWTIME, 5:00): Perididdle (Benicio Del Toro) claims to be gotbrendan (Morgan Fairchild) in a job interview. Nearby, silverxdarkness (Michael Baldwin) cleans marauderette (Julianna Margulies)'s apartment and ruins the hairbrush. There was one where Brendan and Jen tried out for the volleyball team...lol. And I think I once ate Jen's cheesecake.

And muffins...if I say anything about that being linked to moofing or barns then I'll regret it. *Looks back* Oh bloody hell. Okay. This one will be my fault...

Edit: Added one with Lisha. The other two were mean and didn't have her there.

She's upset over the 1 month groundage. She even marked off on a calender when her sentence is up. Yes, ALREADY. It's Saturday, March 6th. I think she's going to plan something then. Let's hope it'll won't be like against the Drakie law and get her grounded for that six months that her dad was screaming.

Catty also wants to know some things, but since I was upstairs when Lisha signed off, they couldn't be asked...she wants to know, "Is it just a stay at home grounding? Or am I not allowed the phone and letters, too? What about music? TV? Horse? All connections with the outside world and fun completely severed? Dad isn't going to, like, tell my teachers to give me detention if I try to talk with my friends, is he? *Looks around* He has a tracking system already implanted somewhere. I just know it."

Around now she's wishing she'd told Morca or Drakie that she was going out. Cause I think the whole, 'Drake storming in, turning off the music, grabbing her and dragging her out of the house WHILE yelling at her' embarrassment has set in. Hopefully the GUILT will set in SOON.

Perididdle hid in a shoe while there was yelling, and once Eph left to find Drake, he scrambled up Catty's clothes and sat on her shoulder. It was cute. Hmm, Drakie had better not try to set a 'no playing with the ferret' law. Cause not only is that cruel and inhumane, it would be crossing the line.

Eph's mention of Sev was a slight nerve jab. But she did a nice mental dissing and she's okay now.

This is the Catty post. Yah.

P.S. The mood is fun. I think I'll use it often now.

OOOOooo...

Okay, yeah, I'm addicted. Before anyone could tell her that she couldn't, Catty sent a note to Fi and Andie.

"I'm grounded for a month. -Catty"

The response...

"WHAT?!?! -Fi
WHY?! - Andie"

Quick letter back.

"I went out with some friends without my dad...or Morca...or, erm, anyone... -Catty"

Reply...

"Oh...um...hun, I'm sorry for what I'm about to say...but considering what's happened as of late...If I was a parent, I'd do the same thing. -Fi

I agree with Fiona, Cat. Your dad cares a lot about you, even Fi will admit it and we know that she dislikes him. He kind of had reason to do that. Sorry, honey, but, well... -Andie."

Yeah. It made Catty sad. I think at this point, the only person who could give her support would be Quentin. I'm sure if she even actually wrote to Sev, for some twisted reason, he'd be quite irked that she ran off. Yeah.
