Jan. 7th, 2004 09:52 pmThe Way You Look Tonight, on that damn car ad, it must be stopped. I like the song and all, but it's the Rod Stewart version, the one that gets stuck in my head. YOU just try having that, Someday, and 'Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...' doing through your head at the same time.
Oh Uptown Girls. I think I ended up hating the guy. I can't remember. But he was kinda blech. But she was kindy whiny. But, as Jessi pointed out, she could hail a cab like NO ONE'S business. LOL.
*Hums* New York, New York, YAY, YAY, YAY, NEW YORK CITY. I'm just about shaking with anticipation of getting to go in February. *Shake. Shake.* See the excitedness? And I don't CARE if it's in the middle of winter, I'm getting a Dirty Water Hot Dog. Somehow. I will. And I'm going to see a play, hopefully Chicago or Lion king, but Gypsy would be cool, maybe I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change as an off-Broadway alternative. And, well, normal other stuff...my mom is going to make me see the Statue of Liberty, and Empire State Building, and Ground Zero (which I KNOW Jessi will want me to record...HEY! I HAVE A VIDEO RECORDER! COOL!) and all that jazz. But I get to go to Barney's (YES, in my signature jeans and t-shirt. WOOT.) and I wanted to go to the Museum of Financial History, but I think we're going to have to settle for something like the Museum of TV & Radio *Eye roll* Which shall be fun. NEW YORK CITY. Then I wanna go to London. You know why? So I can say 'London, baby!' the whole time. Though I'll do that in New York City, too. Cept...you know...I'd say 'New York City'.
I just remembered that Nate lives in New York City. Does that mean I can make my characters endure some good old fashioned emotional muse torture by making them 'accidentally' run into him in a theatre or something? Can I? Can I? Can I?
Tra la la. That kitten Icy likes is cute. She's calling it Izzy, short for Isabelle, which makes me HAPPY, cause I miss my old kittty dangit. It doesn't really like Perididdle much. It's funny to watch Peri come up near it and it tap it on the nose and then run off.
Hmm, I think I'm gonna sleep now. Toodles all.

OH OH *Holds up the gloves she stole from Marisa* I saw these and I had to forcefully pull them off Marisa's hands. They're blue, with two lighter blue stripes, and they have frowns on the fingers and a big frown on the back of the hand part and it says 'Cranky'. YAY, THEY'RE LISHA TOE SOCKS GLOVES!
