Maddy ish teh bored.

*Pokes LimeWire* Iiii like it. Haven't used it before, 'till today...it's nifty. Downloading Adobe Photoshop CS. *Hopes it's worth the 8 hours*

Ohh, everyone, if you EVER buy a Cats sountrack - make sure it's LONDON. Unless they release the soundtrack for the movie cats, London is the BEST of the ones I've heard. And hell, if the movie recording were to be cut up like it is, then still go with London. London is gorgeous. Broadway is...*twitch* Aside from The Mayor being Munkustrap, and a hotter sounding Skimble than the movie, Broadway is horrid. Well, not horrid. It's okay, and all, but Grizabella makes me cringe, Demeter is annoying, Rum Tum sounds like a bad Elvis, and Mungojerrie & Rumpleteazer is sung by, like, Misto. WTF? Plus it sounds like they all sang on stage and someone just recorded it, because everyone is obviously standing far away. It's just gah. OH, I KNOW. I'll do one of those nifty 'London vs. Broadway' but I'll throw the movie in there, 'cause I love me some movie cast.

Overture - Any of them. I prefer London to the movie, but the movie to Broadway.

Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats - Mooovie. 'Cause it's gorgeous. London over Broadway, though.

Naming of Cats - I extremely dislike this 'song.' But London, if any of them.

Invitation to the Jellicle Ball - London is different from the other two. But movie is prettiest.

Old Gumbie Cat - Awww. I can't decide. London. But they're all pretty nice, but movie is 2nd.

Rum Tum Tugger - MOVIE. ALL THE WAY. The other two frighten me. I love movie Rum Tum and Bombal.

Grizabella: The Glamour Cat - London. Oh, London. Then movie, because I love Demeter's voice in the movie. Broadway is an absolute last.

Bustopher Jones - Eh. Never been a fan of this song. But if anything, London.

Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer - Assuming it would be in it's entirety, movie. Because they're so cute...and the London would be second, but they're just reeaalllyy fast. It's still good. I hate Broadway, because damn...I think it's Misto singing. Whaaatt?

Old Deuternonomy - Finally a song I actually like on Broadway. It's generally the same no matter where one goes, since Ken Page is in both movie and OBC. I think it's a three-way tie. Nice.

The Jellicle Ball - Well, okay. When it comes to the singing section, I think it's London, movie then Broadway. When it comes to the music section, it's a London/Movie tie, with Broadway way behind. 'Cause I'm a snob.

Grizabella - OH. LONDON. Oh, god, London is like orgasmic. LOL. I swear. Movie is in 2nd, since it's still Elaine Paige. Broadway sickens me. I'm sorry, but compared to Elaine, Betty is just cringe worthy.

The Moments of Happiness - Another 'whatever' song. I think I like movie, London, Broadway, though they're interchangeable. Oh, oh, no. Stop. Broadway isn't (I'm listening as I type.) Jemima's voice is so depressingly not as pretty as the rest of the Jemima's. Poor Broadway.

Gus: The Theatre Cat - Okay, finally movie is completely despised. I hated that they didn't bring in a real singer/actor for Gus, and the movie Jellylorum isn't loved by Maddy. I've loved London forever, but Broadway is pretty. I think I like the London Gus more, 'cause B-way Gus sounds like the Cowardly Lion.

Growltiger's Last Stand - As far as music goes, I'm gonna say London. And so far, it's London for voices. I dunno. They're both nice, London and B-way. I'm not a huge fan of the song. I need to see it performed to appreciate it, I think. But I don't like this Growltiger/Gus. Garh, can Broadway do ANYTHING right? Griddlebone is pretty, though.

Ballad of Billy McCaw - London. Certainly London, since it's so pretty.

Skimbleshanks: The Railway Cat - *EXPLODES* LONDON. LONDON. OMG. LONDON. LONDON. London here is orgasmic. I have a HUGE crush on Skimbleshanks because of London. I would make out to this Skimble. Nothing can be better than London Skimble, NO ONE. I mean, I love all Skimbles, and Broadway finally completely prevails over movie, but oh my god. LONDON SKIMBLE. *dies from overload of Skimble love*

(*Looks worriedly over Maddy* Um...yeah...everyone disregard that...I think she's had a little too much caffeine...and listened to that record one too many times today. Let's just pretend she said 'London is way better than Broadway, which is better than the movie,' okay? 'Cause I fear she won't remember she actually said this. *Wanders off to find Morca*)

((You think I can bring her back? That's Dria's deal))

(Then ask her...she's your girlfriend.)

((I think she's sick of resurrecting the muses. It's, like, the third time she'll have to fix Maddy this week.))

(Then just find Lisha's book. That has to have something in there.))

((*Wanders off. Returns with The Book* Hmm....hmmmmmmm....oh, look, there's even one to switch back 'Death from Obsession Overload.' Isn't that thoughtful. *Reads and snaps fingers.))

(*Pets Maddy and sends her back to the keyboard*)

Macavity: The Mystery Cat - Uuhhh....oh, oh, right. This is where I feel really bad for saying movie is better than London. I think it might just possibly make tie. I ADORE movie Demeter and Bombalurina, so them together is so awesome. But the record is just COOL, and dad and I sing along all the time. I like Broadway Bombal well enough, she's got this singing-the-shouting-parts that is cool, but I dislike OBC Demeter mostly.

Mr. Mistoffelees - Movie/London tie. Depends on my mood. I like the movie Rum Tum ever so, but I also like the London version. Broadway also isn't too bad, though Misto singing about himself is a little odd. An overall pretty hard to ruin song.

Memory - Oh. My. God. HOW IN THE WORLD...can anyone think that Betty Buckley is a better Grizabella than ELAINE PAIGE?! Betty is great, don't get me wrong, but her voice does that wavey thing so much that she sounds like a goat. The 'eeee' thing doesn't help. She has a fuller voice, but Elaine's is so strong that you can't notice the very slight airyness that she carries. The MOVIE prevails over Broadway, even though Elaine is 20 years older. Plus the Jemima in the OLC and movie is prettier than the OBC one. And, okay. Dad decided to blast Cats for a while, because his sound system could kick your sound system's ass. I closed all the doors in the room and sat square between the speakers and just...oohhh. During Memory, I could feel the vibrations running through me. And the whole time I have slight goosebumps...but at the point of 'Burnt out ends of smokey days' I get a wave of chills...then another, then another...then the music builds and Elaine sings and it just all EXPLODES and I actually just shivered outright. Broadway couldn't do that to me, it doesn't even TRY. I don't know, I just can't imagine anyone being a better Griza than Elaine.

The Journey to the Heaviside Layer - Eh, any of them. They're all nice. Yay, finally a real threeway tie.

The Ad-dressing of Cats - I'm not the biggest fan of this song, I think the finale should have been better...but London. Yesh.

TOUCH ME
IT'S SO EASY TO LEAVE ME
ALL ALONE WITH MY MEMORY
Of my days in the sun...
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is
Look...
A new day...has begun....

*Clings to Griza*

Yeesshhh....that took me forever...

Oh, oh, HAH. Weirdest thing happened to me today. I was at the dentists office (I have three cavaties...between my teeth. Ugh, me.) and I was reading my Buffy quotes book, and I think I giggled as my dentist walked in (quote was "That'll put the marzipan in your pie plate, Bingo!") and he asked me what I was reading, so I held it up. He goes "Ohh, neat. You know, my nephew was in about 15 episodes of that." And I all perk up, but I'm thinking he was an extra or something...no..."Really?" "Yeah, he played a doctor, who would change into-" "BEN!?!" "Yes!"

-_-

My dentist's nephew is the actor who played Ben. That's just GREATLY RANDOM. So I get an autograph eventually. And all the nurse-type girls were Buffy fans, so we got to talk about Ben and how Giles killed him. Yessum, it made my day.

What else...oh, I rented Kissing Jessica Stein for three seconds of Idina, Mask of Zorro for the yumminess that is Antonio, and HEHE...Pinata: Survival Island or something like that. It looks like an absolute b-movie...the only reason I looked at it was because it had a cover that changed as you went by, and I'm all 'Oooh, shiny!' And as I'm looking at it, the guy on the cover looked SO familiar...then I see 'Nicholas Brendan' above him. Oh, yes. I had to watch it. *Giggles*

And I saw Scot today. Yay. I've missed him. CARRIE IS HAVING A BABY. OMG. That child is going to kick major butt. It's going to be a Buffy-watching, TWOP-reading, snarky-queen of a girl. Well, they don't know what it's gonna be yet, but I want it to be a girl. So does Carrie, so, yay. I've never met Carrie, but she's AWESOME. And the baby is due around the end of September/Early October. How FUN would it be if it were born September 30th?

So, yes. I'm having a funnish day.
